Made of top quality yarns from Italy and Mongolia, “1913Berlin cashmere by Yujia Zhai-Petrow” is a cashmere brand for Women & Men by London-Berlin based designer Yujia Zhai-Petrow. Yujia takes a relaxed approach to highly acclaimed luxury material-cashmere. Her cashmere embodies youthful attitude with strong personal style. It blends ethnic touches and American sportswear with modern sophistication to form a highly contemporary aesthetic. It's a new go-to brand for unique luxury cashmere separates and accessories.
Born into an artistic family by the ancient Silk Road of west China, Yujia Zhai-Petrow extended her inspirations while working in New York, Hong Kong, China and London. As a distinguished graduate Yujia heads to New York City's vibrant fashion industry in 2000, soon she set out “YUJIADESIGN”, developing cashmere collections for clients based US, UK and China.
Early 2003, Yujia relocated to London and start to focusing on cashmere trend forecasting and design consultancy.
Drawing from these years of multi-cultural experience she was attracted into the international cashmere industry. In 2009 Yujia launched her own luxury cashmere brand, blending unique cross-cultural style, in eclectic mix of Western and Oriental influences.
Yujia’s cashmere emphasis on unconventional combinations of details, colors and silhouettes. The style takes precedence over ostentation, they are instantly wearable off-duty knits that aimed for everyday chic luxury. It is re-interpretation of the pared-down natural confidence. They are what you might say, “fab-cash(mere)”.
Im Frühjahr 2003 wechselte Yujia Zhai-Petrow nach London und beendete dort ihr Studium an der Central Martins School. Seit dieser Zeit beschäftigte sie sich intensiv mit Trendforschung innerhalb der internationalen Kaschmir-Industrie und beriet chinesische, US-amerikanische und englische Kunden in diesem Bereich. Nach sechs Jahren weitreichender Erfahrungen in Produktion und Beratung entschloss sich Yujia Zhai-Petrow ihr eigenes Label zu gründen.
Im Jahr 2009 entwarf die in nun London und Berlin lebende Designerin ihre erste eigene luxuriöse Kaschmir-Kollektion, welche seither ihren eigenen interkulturellen Lebensweg auf einzigartige Weise widerspiegelt.
